Awadh Ojha (born July 3, 1984, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh state, India) is an Indian social worker and famous teacher, who is known as a famous UPSC teacher, in which he is known for his outspoken and unique style of teaching. Recently he entered politics and contested the Delhi Legislative Assembly election from Padpadganj seat on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party, which attracted more attention of the people towards him.

The name of Avadh Ojha’s father is Shri Mata Prasad Ojha who is a government postmaster and his mother is a lawyer. He completed his schooling from Fatima School Gonda. After this, he went to Bahraich for some time and then left for Allahabad to pursue higher education.His parents wanted him to become a doctor, so they sent him to Allahabad to prepare for medical, but he had no interest in medicine, that is why he left it and started preparing for UPSC following the example of his friends.

After completing graduation in Allahabad, he was attracted towards UPSC and then he also started preparing for UPSC, in which he failed. After failure, he decided to help UPSC students and came to Delhi in 2005 with this determination he started his career as a teacher here. He worked as a history teacher in UPSC coaching institutes and gradually became very famous among the students due to his unique style of teaching history. He taught in institutions like Chanakya IAS Academy, Vajiram Ravi IAS etc.

In 2007, at the age of 21, he married Manjari Ojha and currently he has three children. In 2019 he started his coaching institute named IQRA ACADEMY in Pune, Maharashtra and in 2020 he started his YOUTUBE channel named RAY AVADH OJHA which became very popular among students. His teaching style, motivational speeches and speaking style made him famous all over India.

However, he faced defeat in his first election. He lost to BJP candidate Ravindra Negi in Patparganj assembly constituency by 28072 votes.
